Necking Giraffes and Mount Kili. as photographed by Guarded Secrets

This photograph was taken near Kimana in Kenya, close to the Maasai boma (village) where I was living.

The Giraffes are doin something called 'necking'.
Necking is sort of like fighting, according to one of our lecturers, the two necking were males and there was a female somewhere behind the trees. It's not very clear in this photograph. Unfortunately I couldn't take my Nikon out there with me so I had to make do with disposable camera and my sisters point and shoot digital which automatically chooses the 'best' setting (in my opinion it does this badly!).
